The Perma-Lok is patented and was awarded a coveted Engineering Award at the Offshore Technology Conference in Houston, Texas. Perma-Loks in sizes from 2" to 42" have been installed in marine environments with pressures through 8000 psi w.p.

Features:
- Stock items are ANSI 900
- Purpose built for ANSI 1500 and above
- Internally coated to prevent corrosion of components
- Transmits cathodic current
- Allows freepassing of gauging pigs, etc.

After a thorough and exhaustive proving period, each Perma-Lok is sold to the marine oil and gas industry, or diving contractor, for installation by the personnel of their choosing. However, It is suggested that a technician from The Daspit Companies be sent out during the preparation and installation procedure for assistance in the project.
There are two independent systems involved in the Perma-Lok; the sealing system and the gripping and retaining system. These two systems are encased within a steel housing. The system and housing components are listed below.

Pressure retaining components are A106 Grade B, A516 steel plate or the
equivalent pressure vessel material. All other steel components are ABS
structural steel. Fasteners are Grade B7. Packing is premium Buna-N for
stocked items. Viton, Aflas, etc., available upon request. Coating
systems is chlorinated rubber epoxy primer and top coat.
